Gamma 3, the First Electronic Computer Produced in France, Is Not a Stored-Program Computer

First generation Bull Gamma 3. technikum29 museum.

In 1952 Compagnie des Machines Bull, the first French electronic computer manufacturer, produced its Gamma 3 electronic calculator. It was not a stored-program computer. Commands were stored in a wired "connection panel" which could store a maximum of 64 program steps.
