Franco Crugnola Varese Designs "Incipit," The First e-Book Reader

in 1992 Franco Crugnola Varese and his wife Isabella Rigamonti designed and created the first e-book reader, called Incipit, as a thesis project in the school of architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. Numerous images and documentation of the device were available from la Repubblica Milano.it in October 2013. The project was never developed commercially.
