Deluxe inlaid leather bindings on two copies Baxter's The Pictorial Album or Cabinet of Paintings. It appears that copies were issued in this full morocco binding with inlays of red, green, yellow, and blue leather. The colors of the inlays varied in different copies. This binding would have been primarily done by hand with the using of a stamping machine to create the elaborate gold tooling. The use of so many different leather inlays in the upper cover, to suggest all the color printing of the contents, was a specially deluxe feature for the time.
