1739 first edition of Ged's Sallust on the left; the 1744 second edition on the right. They are, except for the imprint date basically identical, as one would expect from a stereotype edition. It took me about ten years to acquire both the first and second editions; I bought the 1744 edition first, and never really expected to find a copy of the first until one turned up in October 2021.
