One of the earliest Hebrew books printed, though its exact date is unknown, and it is estimated between 1469 and 1473, was the Hebrew lexicon Sefer ha-shorashim by the medieval rabbi David Kimhi, printed in Rome by Obadiah, Manasseh and Benjamin of Rome. It is believed that these Jewish printers learned their craft from Sweynheim and Pannartz. ISTC No. id00102720.
After the first printed edition (1469-1493) there were two later 15th century editions issued from Naples, the second of which was published by Joshua Solomon Soncino in 1491. In September 2020 no facsimile edition of any of the 15th century editions of this text was available.
