In his presentation on artsandculture.google.com, Mapping Knowledge: the Visualizations of Paul Otlet, Wouter van Acker reproduced two images by Paul Otlet that represented Otlet's solution to organizing the wide range of personal information as it existed in the analog world. One is Otlet's Mondothèque, and the other is his visual analysis of the types of personal documentation.
