IBM Introduces the 8815 Scanmaster I, Possibly the First Scanner

In November 1982 IBM introduced the 8815  Scanmaster 1, a mainframe computer terminal designed to scan, transmit and store images of documents electronically.

When I searched for images of this product in September 2020 I found no images on the web.
